Last...last...last...

Tuesday, 19 February 2008, was my official last day of poly life.

When the day came nearer and nearer, I kept thinking that it was THE last day. When it was time to go to school for my examination, I couldn't help but think that that would be my last train ride to school. When I was waiting outside the examination room, I just kept thinking, that I would be taking my last ever paper in poly. I didn't want the day to end because I'd be facing with more "lasts". But hey, time can't stop just because I wanted it to. And so I faced my last prayer at the Muslim Student Society clubhouse, my last walk out of school, and my last train ride home.

I don't know what everybody else felt, but to me, I felt more sadness than relief that school is finally over. I've never really felt so attached to the school until the daunting last day came and passed.

When I reached home, it just felt so surreal that I didn't have school anymore. In fact, I stil feel it now and I think for a few weeks more. I mean I've been going to school for practically my whole life. It has become such an everyday routine to me, that now that it's over, I feel a bit lost and scared. Lost because I don't have that familiar routine anymore, and scared because I have to face my next phase in life now. Which is "work".

Out of all the three stages of school that I've been to, I'm missing poly the most because poly life is just so unique. You have to experience it in order to understand me. Part of why I'll miss it the most is because it is practically my second home. I can sometimes spend 12 hours there.

I know to some of you reading this, my post will sound cheesy to you, but this is me.

So, Ngee Ann Poly, thank you for the wonderful memories that you've given me. I've met my close friends here and they've made my everyday a joy. I'll even miss the lectures and projects. In short, I'll miss you.
(And girls...we MUST keep in touch ok?)

Indon holiday pics (FINALLY)

Hey guys! It's been what...2 months since I last posted? Hehe... At first, I was just busy with school projects, so I decided to just leave my blog alone until I had some free time. Well the free time did come, but by then, after not posting regularly for a few weeks, I just got plain lazy. And then along came tests and exams. And now, after school is over, I've decided to finally upload my family holiday trip to Indonesia!

So here they are. But I'm not gonna post too many because I have to warn you guys first, my family aren't exactly the camera hoggers type, especially my sister and brother. So be forewarned, many bored faces awaits you!
