Kiki is doing great. Can't believe that it's been only 9 days since he fell. Already, he can jump onto our beds and climb stairs. He can practically run. We're all so relieved that his condition is better.
Anyway, I just wanted to write down a list of things that my mother taught me.
1) Always give, but don't take
2) Wait for people, but don't let people wait for you.
3) When you have a job, set aside a portion of your pay as your savings. Don't spend everything once you get your money, you'll find yourself broke all the time if you do that. A person's wealth is measured by how much he saves and not by how much he earns.
4) When you're eating at somebody's house, make sure to clean your own dishes, but when you have guests in your house, don't let them do the dishes.
5) Never talk bad about your family to others, because they'll look down on your family. Most especially, don't talk about it to your spouse. He/She will look down on your family, and ultimately on you. Tell only the good things so that he/she will respect your family
6) If you have a husband, let him win the arguments. Because ego and pride are what define a man. So don't take it away from him. He knows that he is in the wrong sometimes, but he just doesn't want to admit it. You'll gain nothing but more tension between the two of you if you insist on winning the argument. So just let him win, you'll make him happy.
Well, I hope those were some interesting lessons...=D
