Weekly update...

It's been a long time since I last updated. Well, I just thought that I should now update my blog once a week, especially since I'll be working from next week on (That's right! I'm finally gonna work...I'll elaborate on it later). So updates won't be as frequent as before.

Firstly, on last Sunday, which was the day after NDP, Kel, Yu En, Shereen and I got together at Marina Square. I haven't seen Kel and Yu En for a month and Shereen since graduation, so I was a bit excited that we've finally managed to meet up. Marina Square is definitely one of our usual hang outs. I feel nostalgic everytime I go there. Anyway, we ate at Swensen's and then we watched "Journey to the Center of the Earth". The movie was a tad too short and it wasn't as exciting as I had been told. So Kel, Yu En, I know you girls said that it was funny and all, but I didn't enjoy it as much as you two =P.

Secondly, I've started my night classes this week Monday. The commencement of the class was so abrupt. I only received the call on when to start 3 days before Monday. It was actually supposed to start in September. For now, the lessons are on Monday and Wednesday nights. My opinion of English Literature so far, is definitely interesting. We haven't gone into lesson proper yet. But I feel a little excited that I'll finally be able to understand poems and plays because I tried reading them on my own, and they were like an alien language to me. What's more, I didn't fall asleep in class! So that says a lot...ehehe.

Thirdly, I finally received a call from MOM on Wednesday this week! I was to come to the MND Complex to sign the Letter of Appointment on Friday, the same week. My mother came with me to sign it. It was actually up to me as to when I wanted to begin working, until 28 Aug, but my mother insisted that I start next Monday. Enough resting! That's what she said...haha! After that, we rushed to Raffles Medical at OUB Centre to have my medical check-up. It was a whole new experience for me because I'd never had one done before. So I was a bit kuku at some points. I'll also have to make a pass of some sort, like a security pass, I think, at Certis Cisco. But they only have the pass-making on certain days. So, I'll have to ask for time-off for when I want to get it done.

Man...I feel excited and a bit scared that I'm finally gonna start work. Monday will mark the end of my student days, and the beginning of my adult life. =)
